This Gourmet Vindaloo Curry Paste origins from the state Goa in India is made with the authentic Goan recipe that is popular world over. The Portuguese were the once who brought the original recipe called "Carne de Vinho d' Alhos" Carne meaning meat, Vinho meaning Wine and Alhos meaning Garlic. So it was meat cooked in wine and garlic. Which got altered to the Goan taste where wine was replaced with coconut vinegar and Indian spices were added for a bold spicy flavors.

Vindaloo is a Rich Red Curry Paste that is ground in coconut vinegar. The authentic taste of vindaloo is altered if it is not ground in coconut vinegar and any substitute to the acidity will not do justice to the original flavor. This Vindaloo Curry paste is made in Goa and imported so you can enjoy the true Vindaloo flavor without flying thousands of mile or having a large collection of Indian whole spices to make it. Just use a couple of tablespoons to make a spicy vindaloo curry which is fast and easy. It is used for making the world famous Vindaloo Curry Recipe but can be used with Beef, Pork, Chicken, lamb, goat, fish, seafood, Extra Firm Tofu and vegetables and as a wet marinades for grilling. It is Gluten Free, Vegetarian and Vegan friendly spices.

Coconut vinegar, synthetic vinegar, red chilli, sugar, ginger, garlic, turmeric, cloves, cinnamon,cumin, black pepper. No artificial color, No artificial flavor and No MSG

Chicken Vindaloo Recipe
  • 2 lbs of pork or chicken cut 2 inches cubes.
  • 3 Onions chopped finely
  • 1 Cup of water
  • 3 tbsp of vindaloo spice
  • 1 tsp of sugar (optional)
  • salt to taste

Vindaloo Gravy:

  1. Fry the chopped onions till golden brown
  2. Then add Vindaloo paste and saute for 1 minute.
  3. Next add the meat saute for 4-5 minutes.
  4. Finally add water, sugar and salt.
  5. Cook covered on medium heat for 45 minutes till meat is really tender and the gravy is thicken.
  6. Once meat is fully cooked your Vindaloo Curry is ready to be served.

Storage Instruction:
Once opened store in refrigerator.
