Cauliflower and Shrimps Recheado


  • 1 medium sized cauliflower chopped
  • 1 medium onion chopped finely
  • 1 cup frozen peas and carrots
  • 15 medium shrimps cleaned
  • 2 tbsp of recheado masala
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 3 tbsp of oil
  • 8 sprigs chopped cilantro
  • salt to taste

Directions :

  • Apply salt and 1/2 tbsp of Recheado masala to shrimps and keep aside for 10-15 minutes.
  • Heat oil in a pan and saute the onions till light brown.
  • Add the remaining 1 1/2 tbsp of Recheado and saute for 1 minute.
  • Add the cauliflower, peas and carrots and water and cook covered on medium heat till cauliflower is cooked.
  • Add the shrimps and cook till the shrimps are done about 5 minutes.
  • Take off heat and add the chopped cilantro and mix.
  • Eat it as a side with Rice or bread. You can also add it to cooked spaghetti.
